DIY: Bath salt recipes

Simply prepare the basic ingredients – Epsom salt and baking soda.

Then, choose the essential oil blends to cater to your needs!

Basic ingredients:
1¼ cup Epsom Salt
½ cup baking soda
+ Essential Oils
*see recipe below. Feel free to increase/decrease the number of drops of essential oils according to personal preference*

Instructions

1) In a large bowl, mix epsom salt, baking soda and essential oils together.
2) Store the mixture in a large glass container with a tight fitting lid. (You can get this from IKEA)
3) Prepare a tub of warm water.
For adults: Add in 1/2 cup into the bath water
For infants / babies in a small bath tub: Add in 1 tbsp into the bath water
For toddlers (2years and up): Add in 2 tbsp into the bath water

Recipes for babies, toddlers and kids

Cool down body temperature
4 drops Lemon essential oil
4 drops Lavender essential oil

For itchy nose and irritated throat
4 drops Lemon essential oil
4 drops Idaho Blue Spruce essential oil

Sensitive skin
4 drops Helichrysum essential oil
2 drops Frankincense essential oil
2 drops Copaiba essential oil

Recipes for adults

Destress
4 drops Stress Away essential oil blend
2 drops Lemon essential oil
2 drops Lavender essential oil

Relief muscle tensions
4 drops Stress Away essential oil blend
3 drops Lavender essential oil
1 drops PanAway essential oil blend

Hormonal balancing for women
2 drops Clary Sage essential oil
2 drops Ylang Ylang essential oil
2 drops Frankincense essential oil
2 drops Lavender essential oil

Hormonal balancing for men
4 drops Shutran essential oil blend
4 drops Idaho Blue Spruce essential oil
